Share your thoughts, take the CSU AI survey | Sept. 21 - Oct. 19

On behalf of the California State University (CSU), SFSU invites all campus members – students, staff, and faculty – to participate in an anonymous survey about generative AI. The survey opens Monday, September 21 and remains available through Monday, October 19, 2026. All participants who complete the survey can enter to win a $25 gift card or an iPad. The survey provides a campus and systemwide view of AI-related perspectives supporting an authentic view of campus community needs.

Make your voice heard!

We encourage instructors to set aside time in class for students to take the survey, which can provide an excellent jumping-off point for productive in-class discussions regarding the costs and benefits of AI and the rights and responsibilities that come with leveraging this new technology.
